toolbox1.jpgProblem: A technician sometimes has to travel with what is only on his back. Traditionally this consisted of a regular assault pack, a CD case, and an extra large Laptop bag. The CD Case was usually hand carried because it would not always fit in the assault bag, the Laptop bag had a shoulder strap that would wind up around the technicians neck along with the weapon sling and an additional sling if it was attached to the CD case, causes several near black outs and a clumsy mess to emerge from the aircraft.

Solution: I no longer carry the large CD case or the external hard drives, but when I did, I combined the contents of the assault pack, CD case and Laptop bags into one back pack with enough space to help the technician survive for one-two days. The bag I found capable of doing all this is the TACP assault pack from London Bridge Trading Co. however, it's no longer being sold. But, here's what I did with it and maybe it will be a path to a solution for you.
